He began his musical journey alongside schoolmate Devlin, forming the electrifying duo, Danzfolk. Their dedication to their craft paved the way for collaborations with esteemed record labels like Zerothree and Release Records. They even caught the attention of industry titans such as Armin Van Buuren, Gareth Emery, and Above and Beyond. In 2016, the pair took divergent paths to explore individual musical journeys, and Joseph Julien began his solo ascent. Named in honor of his grandfather's, Joseph channels his heartfelt creativity into his music. His discography, already studded with exciting singles, signals his readiness to shake up the dance music scene. In 2020, he initiated his independent label, Kre-81 Records, marking the occasion with the release of "Feelin." This pulse-quickening track not only showcased his innovative sound but also drew in over 20,000 listeners. By 2023, Joseph's music on his own label had surpassed 100,000 listens, a testament to his growing influence in the music scene. Joseph Julien isn't just a name on a record.
